I hope that everyone is safe and staying that way. As we adapt to the new "normal", new ways of doing business have emerged. It seems to me that for the most part they are not actually "new", but methods that were there all the time but have become the norm as we become awaken.
The time is now to adapt and overcome
Those businesses that remain anchored to old methods will have a hard time surviving the storm. You don't wear flippers to an office interview, but you may wear them to a lifeguard one. The same way we dress up depends on the event we will confront; we need to rediscover smart business practices that will cater to our current customer base while attracting new ones. If you decide to wait for COVID-19 to just go away you will be waiting for a long time.
The same way you miss your customers, they miss you too. Stay in touch with them by adding a blog page to your website. Keep them informed and remain present in their new reality.
Here’s how to do it:
Look at your website; update it with usable info
If you don't have a website, get one right away
Open a Blog, keep your customer base engaged with you
Reinvent and Implement - Ex. If you're a restaurant owner, shift to take out and delivery, take orders online and by phone, schedule pickups.
Get involved with your local community, we need each other
Comments and ideas are welcome, share your expertise with us. What works for you?
